AM BEST confirmed Best's rating of A- ( Excellent ) to REASEGURADORA PATRIA S.A.B.

The AM BEST rating agency has confirmed Reaseguradora Patria S.A.B. a financial strength rating of " A-" ( Excellent ) with a stable forecast. At the same time it certified its long term credit issues with a level of " A-" with stable forecast.

Fitch Ratings has upgraded Reaseguradora Patria's Global Rating

Fitch Ratings has upgraded the global Rating of Reaseguradora Patria S.A.B as per it's IFS ( Insurer Financial Strength ) to ' BBB + ' from previous 'BBB', with a stable perspective. At the same time, the IFS Rating in the domestic scale improved to ' AAA (mex) ' from ' AA (mex) '.

HISTORY.- Reaseguradora Patria changed the perception of the reinsurance business in Mexico. In Our 55 years of history, we have become an international icon in the reinsurance business and an ever more solidly established company in Mexico.

In May 7 th, 1953, a group of investors, inspired in the economic development of the postmodern Mexico, gave birth to the enterprise called Reaseguradora Patria, S.A. which was authorized to do reinsurance business in fire, marine cargo and miscellaneous lines of business, with offices located on Avenida Juárez No. 97 in this City..

	Reaseguradora Patria, S.A.B ( The Corporation ) Is a Mexican company whose business objetive is to provide the service of REINSURANCE in life, accident and health, property and surety reinsurance in accordance with the General Law of Insurance Institutions ( Ley General de Instituciones y Sociedades Mutualistas de Seguros). A service whereby the client gets to know us, that is to say where the client knows who he is calling to solve all of his problems and find an answer to all of his needs, to the extent that our capabilities allow us to solve them. A service whereby we get to know the client, in other words, aimed at all levels of his company. A service through which we clearly understand the extent of our business; in other words, one that covers all facets of the traditional reinsurance business Up


	We anticipate the Future with Optimism We have a Company that, though small, has demonstrated it can offer a service as efficient as the best in the field. We have highly trained personnel with many years experience particularly among our executives. Our underwriting policies are consistent, although flexible and in line with circumstances. The fact that in 55 years of life we have only had three Chairmen of the Board and five General Managers underline our general continuity. We have a capitalization adequate for the level of premiums that we write and the area in which we operate (short tail businesses). Another strength is the fact that our total equity reserves are almost equal to our capital and we are confident they will soon exceed it. Up


	Reaseguradora Patria S.A.B. does business with the majority of the companies in all countries of Latin America Reaseguradora Patria does not depend on one or several of i's customers, we have the policy of diversifying our reinsurance premium production among the majority of the insurance and bonding companies of the markets in which we operate.
